Mustard Grain is a development firm that was founded by Kirk True in 2005 to help companies scale their web applications to meet customer and data growth. We both use and contribute to open source projects that center around solving scalability concerns. We help startups and Fortune 100 companies (and the ones in the middle too) to create amazing web applications to achieve their business goals. And we love coming to work every day (except Friday).

Kirk was taught to program at an age so young that he doesn’t actually remember. Due to his hatred of BASIC he didn’t program again for another 15 years.

Matthew is a people person first and a person person second. He is a huge Apple fanboy and pines over his Land Rover Discovery on a daily basis.

Matthew G. is our “intern in residence” who reminds us how old we are. We busy him with data mining applications in an effort to turn his hair gray.

William has a long history of being “the UI guy” despite his efforts to the contrary. One day, he realized that it was where the fun was anyway, so he stuck with it.
